Meet the Team
Leader: Malgorzata Dzierzon
Born and trained in Poland, Malgorzata has worked as a dancer with Rambert, Gothenburg Ballet and Royal Danish Ballet. In addition to her performing credits, Malgorzata joined the Step into Dance programme in January 2018 as the Contemporary Company Leader.
Assistant: Hayleigh Sellors
Hayleigh graduated from Kingston University in 2015 with BA (Hons) Dance and is trained in contemporary dance. Hayleigh works in schools on the Step into Dance programme and she has been the Contemporary Company Assistant since 2015.
Leader: Nina Soutsou
Originally from Greece, Nina graduated from Trinity Laban with a Diploma in Dance Studies and a Post Graduate Diploma in Community Dance. She has taught for Trinity Laban, Royal Academy of Dance and performed with Dancing to the Music of Time. She currently teaches in both secondary and SEN schools for Step into Dance as well as working for Greenwich Dance Agency.
Assistant: Mahdi Ghali
Mahdi teaches, choreographs, performs and competes internationally at the top level in the world of breaking (breakdance). He has been dancing for over ten years and is a former member of London-based Style Hybridz Crew. Mahdi has also worked as a professional singer and rap artist in Europe and has been teaching for Step into Dance since 2011.
Assistant: Zoe Elliott
Zoe is from South East London and graduated from London Studio Centre in 2014. She has performed at prestigious London dance venues such as The Peacock, Sadler’s Wells and Royal Festival Hall. Zoe works with SEN schools on the Step into Dance programme and she has been part of the Inclusive Company team alongside Mahdi and Nina since 2015.
Leader: Valentina Dolci
Born in Italy, Valentina trained at London Studio Centre. She has extensive experience in teaching at vocational dance colleges such as London Studio Centre and Millennium Performing Arts and her recent choreographic credits include MOVE IT 2018. Valentina is a dancer in the BOP Jazz Theatre Company and she joined the Step into Dance programme as Jazz Company Leader in February 2018.
Leader: Michael Joseph
Michael trained at Rambert School of Ballet & Contemporary Dance and draws on influences such as martial arts, Brazilian-rooted Capoeira and breaking in his work as a choreographer, dance artist, teacher and DSLR dance filmmaker. Michael has worked extensively with Para Dance UK as their Inclusive Community Dance Officer and he is a visiting Lecturer at University of Bedfordshire. Having supported the Contemporary and Street Step Companies as Interim Leader, Michael was appointed as the Street Company Leader in 2018.
Assistant: Jordan Douglas
Jordan graduated from Kingston University in 2015 with BA (Hons) Dance and soon started his role as Street Company Assistant for Step into Dance. Jordan specialises in Street styles of House, Krump and Hip Hop while his degree enabled him to train in Contemporary.
